Programming a Chase

Note: If a chase is already cleared (i.e. no steps are currently
programmed), then steps 4-6 are unnecessary.

(1) Set the CHASE level fader to zero.

(2) Select and turn on the desired chase by pressing one of the
eight numbered CHASE switches.

(3) Make sure the keyswitch is set to the Unlocked position, and
press the red RECORD button to the right of the keyswitch to
enable programming.

(4) Halt the chase by pressing the RUN switch, and return the
chase to step 1 by pressing the END button.

(5) Press the INSert button to enable editing of the chase.

(6) Clear all chase steps by pressing END, then DELete. A "1"
should be flashing in the chase display.

(7) Press the INSert button to enable editing once more.

(8) Set the channel levels for the first chase step using the
X and Y channel faders and/or presets.

(9) Press the black chase SELECT button on the chase panel to
store the first step. The chase will automatically advance
to step 2.

(10) Record additional chase steps by repeating (8) through (9).

(11) When the pattern is completed, press END.

(12) Return the keyswitch to the Locked position.
