This 16 digit SETUP INFORMATION

represents 13 different system parameters. The
following is an explanation of each of the above
SYSTEM PARAMETERS; from left to right.

Interval

This parameter controls the INTERVAL

SPACING in SEQUENTIAL DIAL mode. This
controls how many numbers are skipped between
calls. This prevents your SYSTEM from dialing
every telephone number at a business in succession.
You MUST enter a two digit number from 01 to 99.
The FACTORY SETTING is 10.

Re-Dials

This parameter controls the number of RE-

DIALS in MEMORY DIAL mode. After the
SYSTEM dials all of the numbers in memory, the
unit will go back through memory and will RE-
DIAL the numbers that received a BUSY or NO
ANSWER response. This number controls how
many passes it will make through memory. You
MUST enter a two digit number from 00 to 99. The
FACTORY SETTING is 02.

Voice Limit

This is the maximum time the system will allow

the called party to talk for any given question. After
the unit asks a question it records a response from
the called party. If the called party talks over the
VLIMIT period on any of the questions asked, the
dialer will disconnect and start dialing the next
number. This number represents the maximum

number of seconds. You MUST enter a number
from 01 to 99. If 99 is entered the system operates
in an unlimited voice mode. The FACTORY
SETTING is 20.

Dial Method

This parameter controls the dialing method of

the system. The choices are 0 for TOUCH TONE or
1 for DIAL PULSE. The FACTORY SETTING is 0
for touch tone dialing.

Attended Mode

This parameter controls the operation of the

unit in MEMORY DIAL SEQUENTIAL DIAL, and
ANSWER modes. In ANSWER MODE only the
END ATTENDED MODE functions. The options
are 0 for unattended dialing, 1 for front attended
dialing, 2 for end attended dialing or 3 for front and
end attended dialing. The FACTORY SETTING is
0 for unattended dialing.

0-Unattended Dialing

The UNATTENDED mode allows the unit to

dial the numbers, detect when a person answers the
phone, then automatically deliver the tape program
to the called party. When the tape program has
finished the dialer calls the next number. The unit
works without any assistance.

1-Front Attended Dialing

This mode allows the user to intercept each call

BEFORE the tape system is activated. After talking
to the called party the user MUST command the
system to either activate the tape portion or to
continue dialing. To use this mode the user must be
positioned within arm's reach of both the SYSTEM
and a telephone that is connected to the same phone
line that the system is installed on. This
ATTENDED MODE has been designed to free the
user from the tedious job of monitoring each call.
The system will automatically alert the user when it
is time. Because of this the VOLUME control
should be turned fully counter-clockwise (OFF)
during ATTENDED MODE operation.

When the system detects an answer the

SYSTEM will immediately start beeping. The user
MUST pick up the phone before the unit stops
beeping. You only have 10 seconds to pick the
phone up. If you don't make it, the system will hang
up on the called party. When the beeping stops the
system releases the phone line to allow the user to
communicate with the called party. If the user
