Remove the CD-ROM drive bracket retaining screw from the front of the
chassis and remove the CD-ROM drive bracket from the drive bay.

Install the slimline CD-ROM drive into the drive bay bracket, aligning the
tabs on the bay bracket
1 with the rear of the slimline CD-ROM drive
2 and the tiny holes in the drive with the retaining pins in the drive bay
bracket.
5.
Press the CD-ROM drive against the retaining spring in the bracket until
the drive is squarely oriented in the bracket and release the drive. You
should hear a slight click as the drive is secured into the bracket.
