Setting PAPER SOURCE
This function allows you to specify the paper source for COPY operation and FAX
operation. (When optional Paper Feed Unit is installed)
Note: Only paper tray with Letter and Legal are available for fax.

Press the "Program" key then the message MACHINE SETTING appears.

Press "9" of Keypad. The message “9 PAPER SOURCE” is displayed briefly to
confirm your selection.

Press the “Arrow” keys to select COPY or FAX or PRINTER.(PRINTER selection
is available when the optional printer card is equipped).

Press "Yes" key, the next selection allows you to specify the paper source.

Press the “Arrow” keys to select Tray 1 or Tray 2 as the paper source for COPY and
FAX operation.
For PRINTER operation the following selections are available.
Then press "Yes" key.

Press "Left" or "Right Arrow" keys to select FIXED or CONTINUOUS.
Note: Continuous Setting appears when paper size of Paper Tray (TRAY
1) is Letter

Press the "Yes" key.

Press "No/Clear" key, to return to the initial state.
Choices Available Description
AUTO When tray 1 has legal size, this setting make your machine
print out the paper according the received document size.
TRAY 1 Select tray 1 for fax or copy operation, the next step
allows you to choose FIXED or CONTINUOUS.
TRAY 2 Select tray 2 for fax or copy operation, the next step
allows you to choose FIXED or CONTINUOUS.
Choices Available Description
FIXED When the paper tray is out of paper, stop the printing until
the paper is replenished in the tray.
CONTINUOUS When the paper tray is out of paper, continue the printing
by the other tray if there is paper in the other tray.
