Clearing Paper Misfeeds

Separator Jam/Fuser Jam
When the message "CAUTION PAPER MISFEED" appears in the Message Display, use the
following procedures to remove the misfeed.

Pull the Lock Release Lever and raise the upper half of
the machine.

Remove the imaging cartridge.
CAUTION
The metal parts within the machine are hot.
Avoid placing your hands in direct contact
with the metal parts within the machine to
avoid injury.

Open the Guide Plates.

Remove the misfeed sheet of paper.
