You must use version 6.5 or greater of the Monarch
9840
printer. The Ethernet
print server is an internal option and should be ordered at the time the printer is
ordered.
S e t t i n g U p t h e P r i n t S e r v e r
The Monarch
Print Server (Ethernet) is extremely easy to set up. To use the
Ethernet print server, upper DIP switch 8 must be turned ON. This enables the bi-
directional communication.
Do not plug any cables into the parallel port when using the
Ethernet port.
