Analog Output Configuration

The AT-MIO-16X supplies two channels of analog output voltage at
the I/O connector. The analog output circuitry is configurable through
programming of a register in the board register set. The reference and
range for the analog output circuitry can be selected through software.
The reference can be either internal or external, whereas the range can
be either bipolar or unipolar.

Analog Output Reference Selection

Each DAC can be connected to the AT-MIO-16X internal reference of
10 V or to the external reference signal connected to the EXTREF pin
on the I/O connector. This signal applied to EXTREF must be between
–18 and +18 V. Both channels need not be configured for the same
mode.
