Connecting The Power And Switching On

CAUTION: Do not switch on until everything is connected properly.

Insert the power cable into the socket located at the rear of the machine.

Plug in the cable to the mains.

Turn the power switch on.
Important
❒ The supply form the wall outlet must not fluctuate more than 20 V either
side of 115 Vac.
❒ The power cord should not be laid in a place where it might trip somebody.
❒ Do not lay anything on the power cord.
❒ If you have to use an extension cord, make sure that it is capable of carry-
ing 125V/15A, and that your facsimile terminal is the only piece of equip-
ment connected to that cord.
