Enter button — The Enter button has one primary function (•) and three
secondary (❏) functions:
• Save configuration or preset changes that you make on the front panel
and indicate that a potential change has been created but not saved. To
create a simple configuration:

Specify video, audio, or both (see I/O selection buttons [ i ] and [ j ])

Press the desired input button ( a or b )

Press the desired output button(s) ( c or d )

Press the Enter button.
N • Video outputs in the computer video group ( c ) can be tied only to a
computer video input ( a ).
• Video outputs in the low resolution video group ( d ) can be tied only to a
low resolution video input ( b ).
• Audio can be tied only to outputs 1 through 6. If you make a video and
audio tie from the low resolution video group (inputs 9 through 14), audio is
automatically tied to an output in the computer group (outputs 1 through 6).
❏ With the Preset, View, and Esc buttons, select Serial Port Selection and
Configuration mode. See “Selecting the RS-232 Primary port’s baud rate”
on page 3-42.
❏ Select 9600 baud for the rear panel RS-232 port in Serial Port Selection and
Configuration mode and indicate the selection. See “Selecting the RS-232
Primary port’s baud rate” on page 3-42.
❏ With the Video and Audio buttons, select front panel security
Lock mode 2 or toggle between mode 0 (unlocked) and mode 2. See
“Setting the front panel locks (Executive modes)” on page 3-44.
