3.8.1. ADDING OR EDITING PRODUCTS, CONTINUED
9. Enter the
FACTOR
value in the entry field.
– This value converts the weight to another unit’s value.
– The Factor is multiplied by the Net Weight of a transaction.
– To obtain the Factor, divide the conversion value of the unit into
ONE (1).
EXAMPLES
2000 lbs = 1 ton
56 lb = 1 bushel of shelled corn
Factor: = 1/2000
Factor: = 1/56
Factor: = .0005
Factor: = 0.017857

The Total data entry box is automatically populated and updated upon every
weighment which utilizes the Product ID value.
– This provides a running total of Net Weight for each product.
– Manually enter a
ZERO
to reset the accumulator.
The
UNITS / DECIMALS
selects the units
of the running Total, and the accuracy of the
conversion resultant product for each
transaction weighment calculation.
10. Press the
UNITS
button to select
the measurement unit processed
and displayed for each Product.
