Section 4: FB2550 Customization
4.1. PROGRAMMABLE LEGENDS
The FB2550 can be customized to meet application requirements with programmable
legends, programmable prompts, and truck image types for the display.
Follow these steps to customize the FB2550 legends.
1. Select LOGIN .
2. Enter the Supervisor Password or
Service Password.
3. Select the CONFIGURATION
MENU.
4. Press select PROGRAMMABLE
LEGENDS .
5. The data entry boxes to the right of
the legend identifiers will accept
keyboard alphanumeric entries to
customize the legends the operators
will view when operating the
instrument.
Examples:
Loop ID: VEHICLE ID
Scale x: NORTH SCALE
6. Press the PAGE FORWARD
7. Program the Legends for
SCALES 5 thru 8.
8. Press the SAVE CHANGES button when any changes are made, or
they will be lost.
