5. Note that the left and right guide-rails each possess two note guide-holes, as shown in Figure 5.
Each of the note guide holes provides access to an adjustment scale underneath.
6. To access the adjustment scales in the guide-holes, select either the left or right guide-rail to
begin. Grasp the pull-tab at the end of the rail, shown in Figure 6 and pull forward while lifting
up slightly. It is important to lift up the rail while pulling it forward in order to clear the rail stop
near the front of the cassette. The guide rail should slide forward until it touches the front of the
cassette (see Figure 7). The guide rail is under spring pressure, so you will need to apply
constant pressure to keep the rail in this position during the adjustment.
7. Note that two adjustment scales under the guide-holes have now been revealed, as shown in
Figure 8. The scale indicates various adjustment settings using alphabetic characters.
