1.) Select DIAGNOSTICS from the MANAGE-
MENT FUNCTIONS screen
2.) Select the STATUS option.

ESCRIPTION
:
The STATUS feature presents a screen with options for initiating status checks on the primary
functional areas of the dispensing mechanism. These areas are the four Feed Channels, the
Reject Channel and the Transport Channel. Choose the area you want to check and press the
applicable option button. The return code for each of these functional areas of the dispenser will
consist of a string of characters that must be interpreted to determine the status of various com-
ponents within that area. Refer toSection 9, Interpreting Return Codes, for information on the
meaning of each character in the return code. The cancel button must be pressed to return to the
DIAGNOSTICS main menu.

The Return Code received as a result of initiating status testing may provide indications of error
conditions in the specified channel.
