When minimizing key reports, the minimum number of key reports is sent to
represent each character. When the ASCII-to-keypress conversion type property
is set to ACTIVE KEYMAP, this consists of one key report per character (key
down) if not sending the same key usage ID that was sent in the last key report
sent or two key reports per character (one for the key down and one for the key
up) when sending the same same key usage ID that was sent in the last key report
sent. When the ASCII-to-keypress conversion type property is set to ALT ASCII
code, this consists of four key reports per character (Alt and first digit down,
second digit down, third digit down, Alt and third digit up). This mode is up to
two times faster, but it may not work with all applications.

to 1.

Er

00 – Don’t send any card data if error – NOT CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTED

01 – Don’t send track data if error

11 – Send ‘E’ for each track error

This property is stored in non-volatile memory, so it will persist when the unit is
power cycled. When this property is changed, the unit must be reset (see
Command Number 2) or power cycled to have these changes take effect.

0 – MagnePrint Data will NOT be sent

1 – MagnePrint Data will be sent.

This property is used to designate whether or not the MagnePrint data is sent as part of
the swipe data when in Security Level 2 (MagnePrint data is always transmitted in other
Security Levels). Setting S to 1 causes the MagnePrint Status and Unencrypted
MagnePrint Data to be sent with each swipe. Setting S to 0 causes these fields to be
omitted from the data. When the fields are omitted, the Programmable Field Separator
that precedes each of these fields will also be omitted.
