Parameter | Name:

C14883 | Data length of I/O data consumed

Data type: UNSIGNED_8

Index: 9692 = 0x25DC

Setting of the data length (in bytes) of the I/O data received by the device via DeviceNet.

Note:

• If the data length is changed, the DeviceNet scanner will be informed about this change (consumed data size).

• If the data length is reduced, it must be checked before whether the intended data length is sufficient for the

application.

• If the data length of the consumed I/O data does not correspond to the length of the mapped ports which is

specified by the drive via PDO mapping, the

DeviceNet: Consumed I/O data length is contradictory [0x00C88211]

( 46)

error message is generated and entered as a warning into the logbook of the standard device.

• If the number of consumed I/O data deviates from the Lenze setting (4 bytes), the "Automap on Add" function in

the scanner configuration dialog of the »RSNetWorx« software has to be deactivated and the number of the

process data words has to be adapted via the "Edit I/O parameters" button.
