6. Select Properties…, and select the Device Usages tab to see the CPU usage and the
Consume and Produce usage.
If the system exceeds any of the usage limits described previously, use RSNetWorx for
ControlNet to reconfigure your system. Consider one or more of the following options:
• increase the Requested Packet Interval (RPI) of the entries in the scan list of
the1784-PKTCS card
• increase the Network Update Time (NUT) for your ControlNet network
• decrease the number of entries in the scan list of the 1784-PKTCS card
• decrease the Input and/or Output Sizes of the entries in the scan list of
the1784-PKTCS card
