Terms and Abbreviations
The following terms and abbreviations are specific to this product. For a complete
listing of Allen-Bradley terminology, refer to the Allen-Bradley Industrial
Automation Glossary, publication number AG–7.1.
Archive File
a file, stored on a disk and in binary format, that contains an SLC
500 processor program.
Documentation File
a file, stored on a disk and in binary format, that contains
rung, instruction, address comments and symbols.
APS
Advanced Programming Software.
APSIE
APS Import/Export utility.
ASCII
a group of alphanumeric characters that defines a line in an import file.
RSI
Rockwell Software, Inc.
SLC
small logic controller
