Generic Lighting Info tab
The IR/RS232 Settings tab for the ControLinX hosting a Generic Lighting system displays in the right side of
the window (see Figure 5-101).

The IR/RS232 Settings tab is primarily an informational tab. The screen provides more detailed information
about the RS232 settings used to communicate with the generic lighting device.
TAble 5-82 provides information on the fields available for editing the IR/RS232 Settings tab.

Info
Current IP Address
The current IP address of the ControLinX.
Current Subnet Mask
The current subnet mask of the ControLinX.
Device Type
The type of DigiLinX device that this is.
Model Number
The NetStreams ControLinX model number.
Firmware Version
The firmware version the device is running.
Device Name
Descriptive name the installer assigned to the device when
creating the project.
Override
Changes the default device name. Keep unchecked in most
instances.
Serial Number
Serial number of the ControLinX.
Device Comments
Indicate where the device is installed so that if you need to
return to the installation for service or upgrading devices, you
can have access to this information in the project file.
