IR Tools
IR Tools are used to enable specific IR codes for third-party devices connected through
a MediaLinX or ViewLinX. IR learning is separate from the project. When you’re
learning IR, you’re doing it with either the the MediaLinX or ViewLinX. The IR tools
can be used only on a matched MediaLinX or ViewLinX device. To open the IR Tools
menu:
1.
Ensure you have the project open and all devices matched and connected to your
PC.
2.
Select the MediaLinX or ViewLinX in the left window pane.
3.
Select the IR button (
) from the icons at the top of the window.
The IR Tools menu for the MediaLinX displays (see Figure 7-1) or the IR Tools
Menu for ViewLinX displays (see Figure 7-2).
