Subscribers and Groups
This chapter covers the subscriber and group features of the DigiLinX Dealer Setup.
Subscribers
A subscriber refers to external control systems, such as Crestron
®
or AMX
®
systems.
When an external controller subscribes to one of the DigiLinX services, it means that
the control system can receive information regarding that service. For instance, a
Crestron controller subscribing to the native service of a SpeakerLinX can now receive
all metadata and song progress that is available through that service. This enables the
control system to offer feedback and enable better control of the music.
Adding Subscribers to a Service
To add subscribers, complete the following steps:
1.
From Dealer Setup, select Tools>Edit Subscribers.
