3.10 User Preferences
• From the Home screen, press 10 or use the Up or Down Arrow keys to highlight “User preferences”,
then press Enter to display the User Preferences Screen (Figure 3.34).

3.10.1 Setting the Clock
This section of the program allows the user to select how the date is presented, to enter a correct
date, and to enter the correct time. The default setting for the date is Month/Date/Year; this may be
changed to Date/Month/Year. The clock is a 24-hour clock.
• When the User Preferences screen (Figure 3.34) is selected, the number 1, corresponding to
“Clock” is highlighted as the default choice. Press Enter to view the Set Clock screen. If the
number 1 on the User Preferences screen is not highlighted, press 1 or use the Up or Down
Arrow keys to highlight, then press Enter to select. The Set Clock screen appears (Figure 3.35).
