1x dye reagent to each tube (or cuvette) and
vortex (or invert). For microplates, mix the
samples using a microplate mixer. Alter-
natively, use a multichannel pipet to dispense
the 1x dye reagent. Depress the plunger
repeatedly to mix the sample and reagent in
the wells. Replace with clean tips and add
reagent to the next set of wells.

5. Incubate at room temperature for at least
5 min. Samples should not be incubated
longer than 1 hr at room temperature.
