4. Pipet each standard and unknown sample
solution into separate clean test tubes,
disposable cuvettes, or microplate wells. Add
1x dye reagent to each tube or cuvette and
vortex: for microplates, mix the samples
using a microplate mixer. Alternatively, use a
multichannel pipet to dispense the 1x dye
reagent. Depress and release the plunger
repeatedly to mix the sample and reagent in
the wells. Replace with clean tips and add
reagent to the next set of wells.
