NOTICE:

The cooling fans are hot-pluggable. To maintain proper cooling while the system is on, only replace one fan

at a time.

2. Locate the faulty fan and while pressing the fan release lever, lift the fan straight up to clear the fan assembly (see

Figure 4-11

).
