SECTION 21 INTRODUCTION to Part III

Part III contains details of all currently available monitor and control points for the AERCO XPC Gateway.
These points are provided in tabular listings for the following AERCO equipment groups:

• 1 Boiler Management System (BMS/BMS II) & 4 C-More Controlled Boilers
• 1 BMS/BMS II & 8 C-More Controlled Boilers
• 1 BMS/BMS II & 12 C-More Controlled Boilers
• 1 BMS II & 4 BCM Controlled Modulex Boilers
• 4 Electronic Control Systems (ECS) for Indirect-Fired Water Heaters

For each of the above groups, monitor and control mapping points are provided for BACnet, Johnson N2
and LonWorks Protocol.

SECTION 22 APPLOADER SOFTWARE UTILITY

A CD containing the AppLoader Software Utility is provided with each AERCO XPC Gateway. This
Software module allows the field technician to perform the following tasks:

• Download memory
• Change XPC parameters
• View XPC status information

Detailed instructions for loading the AppLoader software utility on a laptop or desktop PC and applying
changes to XPC Gateway parameters are also included on the CD. In addition, a complete copy of GF-
122 is included on the CD in PDF format.

SECTION 23 PROGRAM FILES AND FILENAMES

In the table below are listed the filenames of the XPC Gateway software needed to facilitate the required
system configuration. These program files are available on CD as well as online. Naturally, one should
always check the online files for the very latest version.

The “x” at the end of the filename indicates revision sequence letter of the program (a, b, c …). A letter
further back in the alphabet represents a more recent version of the program. Thus, version “d” is newer
than version “c”.
