Performing Reference Measurements
Once the calibration is complete, you will have to perform reference
measurements. More detailed information about references can be found
in Performing Reference Measurements on page 82.
The dialog box can be divided into four main parts:

A section that specifies the types of reference measurements that can
be performed on the system: IL, IL/PDL, ORL
³
A monitoring zone that allows you to verify the power read from the
power meter, in dBm
³
A connection information section that indicates to which switch port
and to which power meter channel the fiber should be connected
³
A section that displays useful instructions about reference
measurements
