Section 10 - Options

Dukane Manual Part No. 403-574-01

This section of the User’s Manual provides a general

overview of some options/upgrades, all of which are sub-

ject to availability, for the basic ultrasonic generator:

Power Inlet Options

120V Systems for North America and
Japan

120V systems for North America and Japan have a fixed
(non-detachable) power cord.

This option is available on generators with power ratings

of 1200 watts or less and with operating frequencies of

20kHz, 30kHz, or 40kHz.

See Table 11-II in Section 11, Specifications.

Electrical Safety

120V Power Ground

Grounded, 3-Prong Receptacle

CAUTION

If there is any question about
the grounding of your recep-
tacle, have it checked by
a qualified electrician. Do
not cut off the power cord
grounding prong, or alter
the plug in any way. If an
extension cord is needed,
use a three-wire cord that is
in good condition. The cord
should have an adequate
power rating to do the job
safely. It must be plugged
into a grounded receptacle.
Do not use a two-wire exten-
sion cord with this product.

CAUTION

If you have a two-prong elec-
trical receptacle, we strongly
recommend that you replace
it with a properly grounded
three-prong type. Have a quali-
fied electrician replace it fol-
lowing the National Electric
Code and any local codes
and ordinances that apply.
