3.2. Managing MCS-2160 with HyperTerminal
MCS-2160 allows users to make system configurations and view test statistics/system information with
HyperTerminal. To access MCS-2160 via HyperTerminal, you have to connect XC-M667’s Console
Port with PC’s RS-232 Port via a 2.5mm Phone Jack to RS-232 cable as shown in the figure above.
Please Note: If you log in the Hyper Terminal to access the MCS-2160 system, the previous accessed
Web Management or Telnet will automatically log out from the MCS-2160 system.
