The button synchronizes the absolute and incremental
positions with each other at the counting limits. If it is not
activated, the program continues to count in the mode that is
typical for the respective counting method.
The button transfers the absolute position to the
incremental counter.
Position display of the binary data word
[ Window > Absolute position ] activates the absolute position
window.
The absolute position window displays the absolute position of
the encoder as a binary word, where bit 1 is the LSB (least
significant bit) of the position value. The displayed value
corresponds to the position value transmitted by the encoder.
There is no conversion to path length or angular position.
