Some memory areas might be write-protected (see EnDat
Specifications). Any attempt to write data to a write-
protected memory area results in an error message.
The configuration of an encoder can also be saved in a file.
Select either [ File > Save encoder configuration As ], or [ File >
Save encoder configuration > In file ], or the appropriate button
in the toolbar.
The files are saved with the extension .edf. The files can also
be view with a text editor without using the IK 115 software.
Printing the encoder configuration
You can print an encoder configuration through [ File > Print
encoder configuration ]. In a dialog box you can select the
memory areas to the printed. The values are formatted in the
same manner as the displayed values.
With [ File > Page setup ] you can select the printer and specify
the page format.
