Editing and saving the encoder configuration
If the value of a data word can by changed by the user, he can
double click the entry name to start the appropriate editor
dialog. He can then edit the value in the editor dialog. After he
exits the dialog, the new value is shown in the configuration
data window, but has not yet been saved in the encoder.
The configuration of an encoder does not change until the
new values are written to its memory.
In the dialog for saving the changed data in the encoder, a
prompt asks you which memory area in the encoder is to be
written to. Please remove the check mark from those memory
areas that are not to be overwritten. Then click the “Transmit”
button.
