Analyzing tracks
Set [Settings] > [In-app player settings] > [Track Analysis] > [Auto
Analysis] on the vertical screen or [Settings] > [General] > [Track
Analysis] > [Auto Analysis] on the horizontal screen to start track
analysis.
• If a track is loaded to a deck before analysis is complete, it may take
some time to display its BPM and waveform.
• Depending on the number of tracks, analysis may take some time.
Using Beat FX
You can apply effects that match the tempo (BPM) of the track loaded
on the deck.
1 Press the [BEAT FX SELECT] button on the unit.
The selected Beat FX changes each time you press the button:.
If you press the
[BEAT FX SELECT] button while holding the [SHIFT] button,
the selected Beat FX changes in the reverse order.
2 Slide the [BEAT FX CH SELECT] switch.
The channel that Beat FX will be applied to changes each time you slide the
switch.

[1] : Applies Beat FX to the sound of channel 1.
– [2] : Applies Beat FX to the sound of channel 2.
– [1&2] : Applies Beat FX to the sound of channel 1 and channel 2.
For [1&2] , the beat, effect type, etc. are synchronized between the unit 1 and
unit 2 of Beat FX. The beat settings may not be synchronized due to
differences in the BPM of the tracks loaded on the decks.
3 Press the [BEAT  ] or [BEAT  ] button.
Set the number of beats (or parameters) synchronized to the effect sound.
