Using Smart Fader
1 Load tracks onto deck 1 and deck 2.
2 Press the [SMART FADER] button.
Smart Fader turns on.
• When Smart Fader is turned on, Beat Sync turns on. (Beat Sync can't be
canceled.)
• When Smart Fader is turned on, some effects, EQ LOW, Beat Sync, etc.
can't be controlled on the rekordbox for iOS/Android screen.
3 Slide the channel faders and crossfader to mix tracks.
• Adjust the BPM for playback according to fader operation and the track.
• EQ LOW is automatically adjusted according to fader operation.
• The echo effect is automatically applied according to fader operation.
• When sound outputs only from deck 1 due to fader operation, the BPM is
adjusted to the real BPM of the track on deck 1. When sound outputs only
from deck 2 due to fader operation, the BPM is adjusted to the real BPM of
the track on deck 2. When sound outputs from deck 1 and deck 2 at the same
volume, the BPM is adjusted to find the middle point of the difference
between the BPM of the tracks on deck 1 and deck 2.
• If the BPM of the tracks on deck 1 and deck 2 are significantly different,
Smart Fader may not work properly because it is out of the tempo range.
