Changing the Bluetooth ® MIDI device name
Before you potentially use other units, you can set the unit to be
identified by your mobile device.
You can change the Bluetooth MIDI device name displayed for the
Bluetooth connection between the unit and your mobile device.
• The Bluetooth MIDI device name setting can’t be saved.
1 Disconnect the USB cable to turn off the unit.
2 Hold down the relevant pad on the left or right deck and connect the
USB cable.
The relationship between Bluetooth MIDI device names and Performance
Pads is as follows.
For deck 1
1: DDJ-FLX4_1, 2: DDJ-FLX4_2, 3: DDJ-FLX4_3, 4: DDJ-FLX4_4,
5: DDJ-FLX4_5, 6: DDJ-FLX4_6, 7: DDJ-FLX4_7, 8: DDJ-FLX4_8
For deck 2
1: DDJ-FLX4_9, 2: DDJ-FLX4_10, 3: DDJ-FLX4_11, 4: DDJ-FLX4_12,
5: DDJ-FLX4_13, 6: DDJ-FLX4_14, 7: DDJ-FLX4_15, 8: DDJ-FLX4_16
