PCON.7

“Double Baud Rate”:

When set to a 1, the baud rate is doubled when the serial port is being used
in modes 1, 2, or 3.

Initialization:

Cleared to a 0 on any reset.

Read Access:

Can be read normally at any time.

Write Access:

Can be written normally at any time.

PCON.6

“Power On Reset”:

Indicates that the previous reset was initiated during a Power On sequence.

Initialization:

Cleared to a 0 when Power On Reset occurs. Remains at 0 until it is set to a 1
by software.

Read Access:

Can be read normally at any time.

Write Access:

Can be written only by using the Timed Access Register.

PFW

“Power Fail Warning”:

Indicates that a potential power failure is in progress. Set to 1 whenever V

“Watchdog Timer Reset”:

Set to a 1 following a Watchdog Timer timeout. If Watchdog Timer Reset is
enabled, this will indicate the cause of the reset. Cleared to 0 immediately
following a read of the PCON register.

Initialization:

Set to a 1 after a Watchdog Timeout Reset. Cleared to a 0 on a Power On
Reset. Remains unchanged during other types of resets.

Read Access:

May be read normally anytime.

Write Access:

Cannot by written.
