PERATION
This chapter describes the following library operations you may need to perform:
Replacing cartridges and the magazine
• Storing cartridges
• Changing the robot control mode
• Operating the library in sequential mode
• Viewing the cartridge inventory
• Resetting the library
• Performing hardware exercises
• Displaying information about the library
NOTE
The application software automatically controls the library’s robotics to
perform backup and restore operations. Normally you do not need to
intervene in the cartridge processing. However, you may occasionally
need to perform the tasks described in this chapter.
