Sample Error

Messages

Sample error messages occur when there is a problem with sample
acquisition. These errors can display on the Diagnostics tab in the
Message Log, in Reports, or on the Errors tab in a batch analysis.

Solution

Insufficient Bead Count

There are not enough beads seen
to meet the minimum requested.

Ensure there are 2000-5000
beads per set per well.
Ensure proper beads are
selected.
Adjust sample probe height. See
page 3-2.
Resuspend beads in the wells.
Check for clogs.

Temperature Divergence from
Calibration Temperature

You are running the system at
an ambient temperature that is
out of range of the temperature
at which the system was initially
calibrated.

Calibrate and verify the system.
If this message still appears
after calibration, contact
Technical Support.

Failed Control in Batch

One or more of the assay
controls are not within the
expected range.

Verify that you selected the
correct template.

Verify that the correct assay lot
number and concentration
values were selected and entered
correctly.

Verify that the system is
functioning properly by running
system calibration and controls.
If the system controls pass,
contact the kit manufacturer.

Failed Curve Fit

The calculation could not occur
for the assay standards for data
interpretation.

Verify that you selected the
correct template.

Verify that the correct control
lot number and target values
were selected and entered
correctly.

Verify that the system is
functioning properly by running
system calibration and controls.
If the system controls pass,
contact the kit manufacturer.
