Make sure the following restrictions are followed when you use TrueCopy for Mainframe volumes
in Duplex status as XP Auto LUN volumes.
•
Set I/O rates less than 50 IOPS while migrating volumes. If the I/O rate is 50 IOPS or more,
volumes may not be migrated.
•
If the connection failure has occurred between MCU and RCU, remove the failure first, and
then migrate the volume.
•
If an external or duplex volume is used, information before the volume is migrated will be
displayed on the Remote Web Console window of the remote storage system. If the volume
migration is completed and the TrueCopy for Mainframe pair is suspended and resynchronized,
the information about this volume will be updated.
•
Do not migrate M-VOLs and R-VOLs at the same time. A timeout of the host I/O can occur.
•
Do not change the status of a volume while migrating them. The change may not occur.
Restriction for Connecting with Former Models of Storage System
When you connect the storage systems with the following combinations, the range you can specify
for each model is restricted.
•
DKC610I = XP24000
•
DKC615I = XP20000
•
DKC510I = XP12000
•
DKC515I = XP10000
•
DKC460I = XP1024
•
DKC465I = XP128
•
DKC410I = XP512
•
DKC415I = XP48
•
DKC310I = XP256
When you connect DKC610I and DKC460I, you may specify as shown in
