Calibrating the tipping mechanism
8. Place the funnel back into the bucket.
9. Slowly pour 82.5 cubic centimeters (82.5 milliliters) of water
into the pre-wetted funnel. This amount should cause the
tipping mechanism to tip 9 to 10 times.
Note: Keep in mind that the quantity required to
accomplish 9 to 10 tips may vary based on the tipping
bucket. If the project involves another size or type of
tipping bucket, refer to the manufacturer for the proper
specifications to determine the proper amount.
