 Installing the Dell PowerVault 136T Fibre Bridge

Tools required: None.

Step 1 From the rear of the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library, locate the area reserved for the Dell PowerVault 136T Fibre Bridge.

Loosen the two captive thumbscrews on the cover plate and remove the cover plate.

Step 2 Slide the Fibre Bridge module into position until it mates with the connector then tighten the two captive thumbscrews. Refer to the Dell
PowerVault 136T Fibre Bridge User's Guide for in-depth information about the Fibre Bridge module and cabling.

Step 3 If you have other library features to be installed, go to

Start Installation

to find the correct procedure, otherwise go to

Cables from Hosts

 Installing Multiple-Slot Mailbox

Step 1 The Multiple Slot Mailbox Assembly is installed similarly as the Standard Mailbox. Attach the Multiple Slot Mailbox to the door using eight
11/32 nuts.

Step 2 Attach the cable clamps using 2 Phillips screws and one 11/32 nut. Connect the cable to the Display Assembly.

Step 3 Insert magazines and any cartridges in the Mailbox.
