 Change Password Dialog

Set/Change Password is the currently active blackened field. Refer to

Figure 77.

If the button beneath the Change softkey is pressed, then OK is

selected, the

Change Password Dialog

is displayed.

To choose one of the four selections, follow the step.

Step 1 Press the button beneath the desired softkey.

If the button beneath the OK softkey is pressed, the old or new password is entered. Refer to

Figure 82.

If the the correct password is entered into the Old field, then press the button beneath the OK softkey.

Next, enter the new password into the New field, then press the button beneath the OK softkey. The password is changed, but
it is not saved. See

Figure 83

.

NOTE: The security change to the password is not saved until the button beneath the OK softkey is pressed in the

Secure

Dialog

screen. To cancel the password change, press the button beneath the Cancel button in the

Secure Dialog

screen.

If the button beneath the Up softkey is pressed, the currently selected field is increased.

l

If the button beneath the Next softkey is pressed, the current field is accepted and the next field is made the active field.

l

If the button beneath the Cancel softkey is pressed, the

Secure Dialog

is displayed.

To choose the option, follow the step.

Step 1 Press the button beneath the desired softkey.

If the button beneath the OK softkey is pressed, the

Secure Dialog

is displayed.

 Service Menu Selection

The Service Menu is primarily used to provide various routines associated with maintaining the system. Service is selected from the Main Menu
alternate screen by following this procedure.

NOTE: Commands listed under the Service Menu Selection require an offline state. Refer to

Using Commands That Require an Offline

State

for more information.

Step 1 Press the button beneath the Service softkey from the

Main Menu (Alternate Screen) Screen

.

The Service Menu appears. This menu offers four selections. See
