•PRINTED COVERING NOTES
Your model is covered with genuine UltraCote ® fi lm that
has a fl at-fi nish covering applied. The base covering is
silver colored, and as the model wears this may show in
places. This is normal and is designed to be representative
of wear and weathering the full-sized aircraft would
have experienced. You may also choose to add additional
weathering by removing the printed paint fi nish in chosen
areas to simulate additional wear. Perform this process
slowly and carefully, and beware of the occasional
tendency for the paint to peel in larger pieces than
expected or desired.
Printed Covering Precautions
• Use only mild cleaning agents on the printed fi nish.
Denatured alcohol is the most aggressive agent we
recommend, but test on an inconspicuous area fi rst.
Prolonged use will remove the paint.
• Use tape with care. Anything other than low-tack tape can
remove the fi nish, particularly on edges.
• Avoid contact with raw fuel, especially alcohol-based
fuels containing nitro methane.
• Remove exhaust residue as soon as practical to avoid
staining or damaging of the fi nish.

IMPRIMÉ
Votre modèle est recouvert d’un véritable fi lm UltraCote à la
fi nition mat. La base de ce fi lm est argentée et apparaîtra au
fur et à mesure de l’utilisation du modèle simulant ainsi la
patine du modèle grandeur. Vous pouvez si vous le souhaitez,
simuler des zones d’usure pour augmenter le réalisme en
frottant les zones désirées pour retirer la peinture, effectuez
ce processus avec beaucoup de soin afi n de ne pas risquer
de retirer plus de peinture que vous le désirez.
Conseils relatifs à l’entretien de la surface du fi lm
• Utilisez uniquement des produits de nettoyage doux sur
la surface du fi lm. L’alcool dénaturé est le produit le
plus agressif que vous pouvez utiliser, mais nous vous
conseillons de procéder d’abord à un essai sur une
partie de surface non visible. Une utilisation fréquente
endommagera la peinture présente sur le fi lm.
• Utilisez du ruban adhésif avec précautions. Tout autre
adhésif que de l’adhésif de masquage endommagera la
décoration, surtout au niveau des angles.
• Evitez le contact avec du carburant brut, surtout les
carburants à base d’alcool contenant du nitrométhane.
• Essuyez les résidus de carburant immédiatement après le
vol afi n d’éviter d’endommager la fi nition.

Questo modello è rivestito con fi lm adesivo UltraCote
autentico che ha una fi nitura liscia. La base del rivestimento
è color argento e in certi posti può apparire usurata. Questo
è normale perché si vuole simulare l’usura e l’effetto degli
agenti atmosferici che hanno agito sull’aereo vero. Si
possono anche aggiungere altri segni di usura togliendo la
fi nitura in argento nelle aree interessate. Eseguire queste
modifi che con calma e attenzione perché la verniciatura ha
la tendenza a staccarsi in pezzi più grandi di quelli voluti.
Precauzioni per il rivestimento stampato
• Usare solo detergenti delicati sulla fi nitura stampata.
L’alcol denaturato è il detergente più aggressivo che noi
consigliamo, però conviene sempre provarlo prima su
di un’area del rivestimento che è poco visibile. Un uso
prolungato potrebbe rimuovere la vernice.
• Usare il nastro adesivo con attenzione. Qualsiasi cosa
che sia di più di un nastro a bassa adesività, potrebbe
staccare la fi nitura specialmente sui bordi.
• Evitare il contatto con del combustibile, specialmente se
a base di alcol e contenente nitrometano.
• Togliere i residui dello scarico appena possibile per
evitare la formazione di macchie o il danneggiamento
della fi nitura.

•HINWEISE ZUR BESPANNUNG
Ihr Modell ist mit einer gefi nishten UltraCote Folie bespannt.
Basisfarbe der Bespannung ist silber, was auch an
einigen Stellen zu erkennen ist. Dieses Durchscheinen
ist gewollt und unterstützt den Scaleindruck durch den
Verwitterungseffekt. Sie können diesen Effekt durch weiteres
vorsichtiges Entfernen der ersten Farbschicht an anderen
Stellen verstärken. Führen Sie diese Arbeiten gezielt aus und
widerstehen dabei der Versuchung die Stellen größer als
gewollt auszuführen.
Vorsichtshinweise
• Verwenden Sie nur milde Reiniger für die bedruckte Folie.
Als aggressiver Reiniger der noch zu empfehlen ist,
empfehlen wir denaturierten Alkohol. Prüfen Sie vorher
unbedingt an unauffälliger Stelle die Verträglichkeit.
Wiederholte / verlängerte Anwendung entfernt die Farbe.
• Verwenden Sie Klebeband nur mit äußerster Vorsicht. Bis
auf Kreppband entfernt alle Klebebänder die Farbe. Dieses
gilt insbesondere für die Kanten.
• Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Kraftstoff, insbesondere
Alkohol-basierte Kraftstoffe mit Nitromethan.
• Entfernen Sie Abgasrückstände schnellstmöglich um ein
Verfärben oder Beschädigen der Bespannung zu vermeiden.
