On vehicles with navigation system
If your vehicle’s battery is
disconnected or goes dead, you may
need to set the clock.
The upper display shows the time
when the ignition switch is in the
ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II) position.
The navigation system receives
signals from the Global Positioning
System (GPS), and the displayed
time is updated automatically by the
GPS. Refer to the navigation system
owner’s manual to set up the time.
1:06 would RESET to 1:00.
1:52 would RESET to 2:00.
For example:
If the time displayed is after the half
hour, the same procedure sets the
time forward to the beginning of the
next hour.
To set or change the time, press and
hold the TUNE/SOUND knob until
you hear a beep. The displayed time
begins to blink. Press on the H
button (Preset 4) until the numbers
advance to the desired time. Change
the minutes by pressing the M
button (Preset 5) until the numbers
advance to the desired time. When
you are finished, press the TUNE/
SOUND knob again to set the time.
You can quickly set the time to the
nearest hour. If the time displayed is
before the half hour, press and hold
the TUNE/SOUND knob, then press
the R button (Preset 6) to set the
time back to the previous hour.
