To remove the phone book from your
handset:
1. Press to access the menu.
2. Select >PhoneBook >DeleteAll.
3. Press
to confirm the deletion.
Placing a Call Using the
Phone Book
Numbers that have been downloaded can be dialed
from the handset by entering the contact name.
To place a call from the phone book:
1. Press to access the menu.
2. Select >Phonebook >CallName.
3. There are two ways you can access the name of
the person to call:
• Enter the first letter of the contact name.
Press
to display the first name in your phone
book beginning with that letter.
Use
to scroll through the list of available
names.
When the name appears for the person you want
to call, press
to place the call.
OR
• Press the corresponding key on the keypad for
each letter. Press once for the first letter on the
key, twice for the second, and three times for the
third. (See “Entering Non-Numeric Symbols from
the Handset Keypad” on page 206 for a full table
of symbols available from the keypad.)
When the desired contact name appears, press
to place the call.
