Modular Service Tool Instructions

From any menu screen, press

<SETPOINTS>

. The Unit Selection

Screen, shown below, will appear requesting that you enter the unit ID
number.

Enter Unit ID#

Selected ID#: XXXX

*00*

Enter the correct unit ID number of the VCM-X or RNE Controller you
want to change Setpoints for and press

<ENTER>

. You must type in

the number, even if it is “1”. Once communication is established, the
*00* at the bottom will disappear. Then

press

. You will then see

Setpoint Screen #1. Press

<ENTER>

to save entered data and

press

<

>

to scroll through the screens.

NOTE:

If the *00* remains, it indicates a communication failure

to the controller.

System Manager SD Instructions

From any Main screen, press

<SETPOINTS>

. The screen below will

appear because this option requires passcode clearance. Only a Level 2
passcode can change setpoints.

THIS ACTION REQUIRES

PASSCODE CLEARANCE

Enter Passcode: XXXX

If the correct passcode was entered, the Unit Selection Screen will be
displayed.

Enter the Unit ID of the controller you wish to change schedules for
and press

<ENTER>

. You must type in the number, even if it is “1”.

Once communication is established, the *00* at the top will disappear.

The following screen will be displayed:

Scroll to the ‘Change Setpoints’ option and press

<ENTER>

take you to the fi rst Setpoints Screen shown below.

Enter the Occupied Cooling Setpoint as the maximum temperature
you would like the zone to reach before modulating the damper open
to bring in more cold air to cool the space. Enter the Occupied Heat-
ing Setpoint
as the minimum temperature you would like the zone to
reach before activating the Reheat Stages on the optional Expansion
Relay board. If this is a Cooling Only box that doesn’t contain reheat,
this setpoint will be ignored.

During unoccupied hours, the Occupied Cooling Setpoint is adjusted up
by the amount entered for the Cooling SetUp. The Occupied Heating
Setpoint is adjusted down by the amount entered for the Heating SetBk.
