TIP:

Install power cable management brackets before you install an air filter to the gateway.

Clean the air filter every three months to ensure correct ventilation and heat dissipation of the gateway.

Mounting the gateway to the rack

CAUTION:

Do not hold the handle of the fan tray, power module, or the back cover of the chassis, or the air vents
of chassis to move the gateway. Any attempt to move the gateway with these parts might cause
equipment damage or even bodily injury.

After placing the gateway on the slide rails, do not leave go of your hands immediately because this
might tip the gateway, damaging the gateway or even causing bodily injury.

To mount the gateway to the rack:

1.

Move the chassis to face the rear of the chassis towards the front of the rack.

2.

Use at least two people to lift the gateway by using the chassis handles or supporting the bottom
of the chassis until the bottom of the gateway is a little higher than the slide rails on the rack.
H3C recommends using a mechanical lift for moving your gateway.

3.

Place the gateway on the slide rails and slide the gateway along the slide rails until the mounting
brackets on the gateway touch the front rack posts, as shown in
