Cause: The scan width setting is incorrect.
Solution: Adjust the SCANWDTH setting on the control panel as described in Chapter 4 to
match with the scan width of the data from the host.
RACK MOUNT ADDENDUM
The rack mount version of the V12R Plotter is identical to the desktop V12 in terms of operation,
theory of operation and troubleshooting. There are differences pertaining to:
• Physical
specifications.
• Power switch location.
• AC receptacle type and fuse receptacle.
• Installing the plotter on the rack.
• Air filter maintenance.
• Access procedures for maintenance and repair. This section addresses these
differences.
The rack mount V12 is shipped with an adjustable 8.75, 11.654 or 12 inch fan-fold feeder tray.
NOTE: All notes, cautions and warnings that apply to the V12 also apply to the rack mount
version. Please review the entire manual thoroughly before operation.
CAUTION: Make sure the thumbscrews are secured in the rack before operation. This is
particularly important in mobile situations. Damage to the plotter or rack components could
result if the plotter becomes unstable.
