TRIGger

The

TRIGger

subsystem controls when and how the outputs are enabled.

Other commands, designed for use with the

TRIGger

subsystem are

ABORt

and

INITiate[:IMMediate]

.

Subsystem Syntax

TRIGger

[:IMMediate]
:SOURce <

source

:SOURce?

TRIGger[:IMMediate]

TRIGger[:IMMediate]

triggers all channels waiting for trigger when the trigger

source has been set to either

BUS

or

HOLD

.

Parameters

None.

Comments

To use this command to trigger outputs, the trigger source must be set to either

BUS

or

HOLD

. An error is generated if other trigger sources are set.

If this command is received and the module is not in the wait-for-trigger state, an
error is generated.
