Installing DIRECWAY
installation software on
installer laptop
The installation software is on a CD. The software will enable
you to register DW6000 customers. You need a DW3000 or
DW4000 receive modem (IRU) to install the software on your
installer laptop PC.
Do not confuse the installation software with the software that is
downloaded to the DW6000 via satellite during registration. The
DW6000 installation software enables you to register customers
and configure the DW6000 for operation. The software that
actually operates the DW6000 is downloaded during registration.
Note:
You only need to perform the instructions in this section
one time to set up your laptop computer with the DIRECWAY
installation software.
