while calling a
station You can turn on the message light on someone’s phone by
pressing <CLME> when the phone is ringing or busy.
1 Press <START>.
2 Dial the desired station number.
3 Press <CLME> when the phone is ringing or busy.
The display confirms that the lamp was turned on and
you hear confirmation tone (three short beeps).

station If you call a station with coverage activated, you can still
activate message waiting even if your call is answered by
the covering station.
